Pupils taking part in any PE activities in school are expected to bring a complete change of clothing. Whether indoors or outdoors, this change should include:
- Appropriate trainers - suitable for indoor and outdoor use. These must be tied correctly to give support to the ankles and soles must have effective grip. Plimsolls do not provide adequate support or cushioning for outdoor wear.
- White t-shirt.
- White or black shorts.
- A change of socks is recommended for all activities.
- Joggers and a sports sweatshirt for outdoor PE in colder weather.
- Longer hair must be tied up.
The following items are not appropriate for PE:
- Any item of school uniform (including school sweatshirt and shoes)
- Strappy vest tops
- Cargo-style trousers
- Tights under shorts
- Any jewellery, including piercings.
